FAQ
1. Are TriSkills teachers qualified?
Teachers working for TriSkills have gymnastics/dance/sports coaching Level 1 or 2 accreditation and have completed a minimum of two tertiary levels of a physical education/sport science course. All teachers have current first aid qualifications.
2. What type of room/venue is required?
Gymnastics and dance lessons can be taught with classes of up to 30 children in an area equivalent to a double classroom. The area should be cleared of equipment and furniture and the floors clean. Although carpeted areas are preferred, they are not essential. Athletics, fitness and sports programs utilise the school playground or local parks where possible.
3. How many TriSkills teachers work at a program?
Gymnastics lessons are best conducted with two qualified staff assisted by the class teacher. A single dance teacher conducts dance lessons. Either one or two teachers conduct athletics or sports programs.
4. How much do lessons cost?
The price of programs is based on the number of students attending classes per day. To simplify budgeting for a program, please email or fax us with the number of classes attending the program, your school timetable and the number of weeks that you want the program. We will send a proposal with available dates and precise costs for the total program. Our Fee Guide will also assist you with planning.
5. How many lessons are suggested for a program?
To achieve results and value for money, it is recommended that schools participate in either a block of five or ten lessons.

Gymnastics NSW, Victoria, SA, and WA, The NSW Department of Recreation and Tourism, State Departments for the Welfare of Children / Departments of Justice, the Office of Fair Trading and the NSW Premiers Council for Active Learning are some of the agencies and organisations who provide supervision, guidance and corporate governance to TriSkills.
