The
Lowest Fee
To achieve the most affordable fee for each student:
1.
Have as many classes involved per day as possible
.
a. 40 minute lessons are ideal but they can be as short as
30 minutes if necessary to fit more classes per day and reduce the fee
per student.
b. Consider a rolling rotation to fill each day and reduce the number of
dates booked. More details are provided under 'Timetabling' below.
2,
Reduce the instructors
a. 2 instructors are best for Gymnastics and Sports but if
it is imperative to reduce the fee the program can go ahead with 1
instructor.
b. 1 instructor is all that is required for dance
c. More instructors can be selected for special events and sports days
where many classes are involved at the same time.
3.
Book multiple programs and dates for the entire school.
a. The fee reduces per date as the number of visits increases.
4.
Select off peak dates marked Tri-Saver or Tri-Standard

Timetabling
All fees provide for recess and lunch breaks only with no other gaps between
lessons.
1. Static
Timetable
Classes are guaranteed the same timeslot for each visit which simplifies the
organisation and minimises the risk of class teachers forgetting when their
lesson is. This may lead to partially filled days for the instructor(s), and
therefore it is usually more expensive. For example, a school has booked 9
classes for 5 x 40 minute lessons. Only 8 x 40 minute lessons can fit into a
standard school day, so 2 partially full days of 4 classes per day would be
required which equates to 10 visits by TriSkills.
2. Rotating
Timetable
Each day is filled, the number of visits is reduced and the fee is reduced.
The disadvantage is that the timetable changes each visit. For example, using
the same booking as above applied to a rotating timetable; a school has
booked 9 classes for 5 x 40 minute lessons. 8 x 40 minute lessons can fit
into a standard school day so 1 class would miss out on the first day. The
second day would include the class that missed out and 6 of the other classes
and so on. In this example the number of visits required by TriSkills is
reduced from 10 to 6 and the fee reduces substantially.
